Spike ‘er Louie is a personal blog detailing family happenings, genealogy research, photographs and building Habitat for Humanity homes.
The building of most Habitat for Humanity homes in the Unites States is done through Affiliates which have a geographical basis. The building to be detailed with this blog is being built by Spring of Life Partnership which is associated with the Habitat for Humanity of Northern Fox Valley Affiliate.
Family posts will usually deal with the Mattson and Mickalson names. This blog is part of a website, mickalson.com, dealing with these families. Mickalson, my mothers’s maiden name, was adopted by her parents when they emigrated from Norway, early in the twentieth century.
